Since 2019, we have grown to be known as a Black women-led collective that is unapologetic in our commitment to gender and racial equity, access to health and education, safety, and justice for Black Brazilian women and girls immigrants. Learn more about our work here.
2020 & 2021
Two years of Kilomba Collective! The year 2020 was an impactful one for us. As our first year as a collective, we affirmed our commitment to Black people from Latin America and the Caribbean and our mission to center the experience of Black Brazilian women and girls in the international scenario. Through 2020 and 2021, mainly as a volunteer-run organization, we have been able to connect and organize through a number of actions. Download our report here.
